Optimum Nutrition Whey Protein (Honest Review)

By the end of this article, you will know my honest thoughts on optimum nutrition gold standard whey protein.

And to be clear, this is nothing short of an incredible post workout solution to achieve optimal results in your fitness journey.

You must realize something about fitness my friend, working out is literally one hour of the day.

It's the other 23 hours that counts more than that one hour you spend in the gym, and I genuinely love this post workout for MANY reasons. So let's answer some questions you may have...

How Pure is Optimum Nutrition Whey Protein?

Here's what's in optimum nutrition whey protein my friend:

  • Whey protein isolate
  • Whey protein concentrate
  • Whey peptides

So you can understand why I am endorsing this product as nothing short of a fantastic post workout formula. If you want to bulk, I encourage you to use two scoops.

More importantly, whey protein is the purest form because it contains 90% of protein by weight.* [R]

First big reason as to why I love this product so much my friend, this has no filler ingredients. More importantly, this comes from a company that has a strong brand reputation used by SEVERAL bodybuilders and weightlifters.

You aren't getting shitty protein blend as GNC is known to sell. In fact, that place is overpriced, don't shop there.

Why is Optimum Nutrition so Expensive?

This is the reason for a half a point down at 9.5 out of 10. Yes, you'll notice it can go up there in price.

However, I encourage you to still give this a shot as I will give you more benefits throughout this article.

Don't disregard this as a reason to not try this if you are a serious weight lifter like me. I have taken SEVERAL post workout throughout the years, wasted hundreds of dollars on overpriced GNC protein.

How many people that have lactose problems that always complain about stomach issues from whey protein? You won't have that problem with Optimum Nutrition Whey Protein.

In fact, this is the reason it is a little up there in price, it has the lactase enzyme, that means they go out of their way to remove additional fat and lactose. [R]

So I will say this to you one more time, it is up there in price due to their lengthy process to make it more easy-to-digest for everyone.

Is Optimum Nutrition Protein Safe?

Well let me tell you through experience, I've had gut issues from shitty GNC brands that I've wasted money on.

And I also had ZERO gut problems with optimum nutrition whey protein. In fact, this is definitely safe to take.

Even if you aren't in to hardcore weight lifting like me, this will still aid in the muscle recovery that's essential after working out.

In fact, go through this article to see how safe it really is because I don't want to spend too much time in this section. Just understand that I am a personal trainer of 6 years.

And I've encouraged my clients to consume this particular post workout. This is a VERY safe post workout solution.

What's Possible to Achieve taking Optimum Nutrition Whey Protein

From 135 to 147 pounds taking optimum nutrition whey protein

I'm actually coming out to tell you something brother, while I was writing one of my dating eBooks, admittedly I actually spent too much time on it.

Even though I did HIIT training, that just made me stay lean and I wasn't lifting as much as I used to lift.

I fell off the wagon in my fitness journey. I am fully admitting to you that I'm human, life kinda sneaks up on you.

More importantly, the KILLER INSTINCT that I have kicked in to get back in to my fitness journey.

Here's the whole point my friend, your preconceived notions of what you think is impossible to achieve is in fact POSSIBLE.

How To Take Optimum Nutrition Whey Protein

Got a blender? That would be ideal. If you don't I'll cover that in a little bit.

Here's what I personally do my friend, shakes can and will fill you up.

This is my staple shake that I have made even when I used to compete years ago in a fitness competition:

  • Two scoops of whey protein
  • Creatine (bonus supplement)
  • 1 1/2 cup of Almond breeze unsweetened milk
  • Half of a banana
  • Peanut butter

Buy this shit my friend. You won't regret it.

No Blender? No Problem, Here's What To Do Instead..

Buy a shaker cup if you don't have one. They are cheap, there's no excuses my friend. You can afford a shaker cup.

Put two scoops of optimum nutrition whey protein in your shaker cup and pour 6 to 8 ounces of almond milk or water, whatever you want.

Shake the shaker cup brother. Shake that fucker, get it mixed up enough so it's fully dissolved.

Summary

This post workout is nothing short of incredible. And I can tell you that this is a trusted company in the fitness industry.

Bad whey protein can literally give you gas and you will feel gross all day and that's why I want to really encourage you to stop going to GNC.

I'm giving you my learning lesson of blowing out my wallet in my early twenties. It's better to buy in bulk.

More importantly, I am rating this 9.5 out of 10. Adam Skoda approved, more importantly, I want to let you know that this is my honest review.
