  • How You’re Killing Your Testosterone EVERYDAY!

Last updated on October 15, 2025

Before I start this article, I want you all to understand that the way I'm approaching this topic is I will be calling out most behaviors every single average man does, so if you're easily triggered... Be prepared.

Most men are not at all masculine and yet they think they are, for example, when they TRY to act tough but then when they get offended, they show their true colors.

In fact, some of you might notice the funny picture, I did that intentionally, because this is a more serious article. Why you might ask? Stay tuned for this next scary study I found prior to writing this article.

Testosterone Levels Are Declining—And It's Not Just About Aging

Recent studies have highlighted a concerning trend: testosterone levels in men have been steadily decreasing over the past few decades, independent of aging.

  • U.S. Men (1999–2016): A study analyzing data from the National Health and Nutrition Examination Surveys (NHANES) found that total testosterone levels among adolescent and young adult (AYA) men declined significantly over this period. Notably, this decrease persisted even among men with normal body mass index (BMI), suggesting factors beyond obesity are at play. [National Library of Medicine Study]

  • Global Trends: Research from Israel, encompassing over 100,000 men between 2006 and 2019, revealed a significant age-independent decline in testosterone levels across most age groups. This decline was unlikely to be explained solely by increasing obesity rates. [Secular Trends in Testosterone]

I have said this dating back to my article "5 BIGGEST Reason's You're Not Seeing Abs." For the love of God, I genuinely hope you guys finally get this through your thick skull that this is why I am hard on you the reader, to start getting your eating habits right. Because if you continue, testosterone can literally die in three decades if you don't get serious about this problem of obesity in America.

So, here is how I want to start out this article... Be prepared for truth bombs that I even I had to swallow. And you will have a hard time reading this through without saying... "how is that killing my testosterone?"

Well Sherlock, here's the most important point to how you're killing your testosterone...

You're Easily Offended - And its Killing Your Testosterone

A man with his mouth open looking up

If every little comment, DM, or glance throws you off your game…
You’re not alpha. You’re chemically soft.

Here’s what most men don’t realize:
Your emotional reactivity is directly tied to your hormone profile.

When you get easily offended, angry, or triggered—it’s not just a mindset issue. It’s a chemical signal that your body is out of balance.

Estrogen is feminine. Testosterone is masculine. You know that right?

So if you didn't know that, you just learned something new. The next time you get triggered, look at yourself in the mirror and ask yourself, why did I get so damn pissed off?

To be clear, there is a right way to control your anger, I suggest you read that article, but I'll say this briefly...

When you are offended, that is the quintessential example of EMOTIONAL reactivity. I told you guys, this is a blunt article. You want to stop killing your testosterone? Control your damn anger and have good emotional control.

Hormone disruptors—also called endocrine disruptors—are chemicals that interfere with your body's natural hormone system. They can mimic, block, or alter hormone production, especially testosterone, estrogen, and thyroid hormones.

How They Work (and Why its Killing Your Testosterone)

These substances confuse your endocrine system by:

  • Mimicking hormones (acting like estrogen or testosterone)

  • Blocking receptors (so your real hormones can’t bind)

  • Altering hormone levels (speeding up or slowing down production or breakdown)

Why This Matters for Men to Know

Even small exposures over time can silently sabotage:

  • Your testosterone levels

  • Your libido and fertility

  • Your mental clarity, drive, and muscle mass

So now you know why you need to start eating health-conscious foods. Go to the nutrition tab on my website.

You Constantly Seek Validation

Trending Article: These 7 books will rewire how you think, lead, and dominate—especially #6, which most men never recover from (in the best way).

NEWSFLASH - Women are externally validated. So when men act like they need more money, for example, to be validated, that's not masculine.

Brothers, I interviewed Jerremy Newsome, a man who wrote Money Grows on Trees, however, you shouldn't let money control your whole life. Even Jerremy understands that.

I'm starting with resources, because many men are guilty of being externally validated to their paycheck. With that said, here's more ways you show external validation:

  • Chasing approval keeps you in a dopamine addiction loop, not a testosterone feedback loop.

  • Real masculine energy flows from internal certainty, not external permission.

  • When you stop needing likes, approval, or validation, your dominance system activates.

That leads me to my next point that I want to address. You need to monitor all potential addictions and substances. In fact getting validated can be addicting. If you have a hard time admitting that, then just start accepting that you the reader, on some level you want validation.

Never let addiction ruin your life because I've lost friends to this common enemy of my community. Here is a really harsh truth that you potential addicts are going to have a hard time reading...

The Science: Addiction Hijacks Dopamine—And Blocks Testosterone

purple and black plastic bottle

Every time you indulge in an addictive behavior, you flood your brain with unnatural levels of dopamine. This sounds like a high—but it’s actually a trap.

Here’s what happens:

  1. Dopamine Surges → Crashes → Desensitization

    • Your reward system gets hijacked.

    • Things that used to fire you up (like lifting heavy, chasing goals, or even sex) start to feel… dull.

    • Testosterone production slows because your body no longer associates challenge with reward.

  2. Testosterone Is Linked to Effort, Not Ease

    • High-T men pursue reward through effort: lifting, competing, conquering.

    • Addiction flips that script. It rewards passivity and comfort.

    • The brain says, “Why push when I can click?”

    • The body responds: “Okay, no more testosterone needed.”

  3. Addiction Spikes Cortisol (Your T’s Worst Enemy)

    • When you’re compulsively chasing dopamine, your body stays in a low-grade stress loop.

    • Cortisol rises.

    • And testosterone gets shut down at the production level.

My client I trained Gabriel David is a therapist to addicts. And all I gotta say to that man is "Fuck yeah brother, show men the SOLUTION to their vices."

Take in to consideration having control over drinking, control over your sex drive, control over how you spend your money. That is masculine.

How to Reverse It: Dopamine Discipline = Testosterone Revival

If you want high T, you have to earn your dopamine again. Start simple:

  • Cut out digital dopamine (30-minute detoxes, no porn, no endless scrolling)

  • Replace it with testosterone-building behaviors: lifting, fasting, cold showers, risk-taking

  • Delay gratification and chase long-term wins

  • Watch how your aggression, clarity, and sex drive come back online

You Apologize Too Much – And It’s Killing Your Testosterone

a man covers his face with his hands

Every time you say “sorry” for no reason, your body hears this:

“I’m weak. I’m uncertain. I’m beneath you.”

That’s not humility. That’s hormonal submission.

People who are constantly saying sorry is not at all a manly thing to do. It shows you are explaining yourself.

Also, if you think dominance is wrong, address that shitty limiting belief. Here's another harsh truth...

Testosterone Is a Dominance Hormone

Testosterone thrives when you:

  • Assert yourself
  • Hold frame under pressure
  • Speak with calm certainty
  • Set boundaries without fear

When you constantly apologize—especially in situations that don’t require it—you trigger the opposite cascade:

Social Position Signals = Hormone Shifts

  • Apologizing excessively signals lower status
  • Your body adapts to that position chemically by dialing down your dominance hormones
  • High-T men don’t over-apologize—they speak with ownership and presence

Frame Collapse Becomes a Habit

  • The more you apologize, the more you expect to be wrong
  • You stop trusting your instincts, and that drains masculine drive

Flip the Script: From Sorry to Solid

I Radiate Masculine Power

So, here’s the move if you have a habit of apologizing:

  • Replace “Sorry for being late” with “Thanks for waiting.”
  • Replace “Sorry, can I ask…” with “Quick question.”
  • Replace “Sorry, I just thought…” with “Here’s what I noticed.”
  • Replace "Sorry, can you let me speak?" with "I have to say something on that point"
  • Replace "Sorry, are you using the smith machine?" with "Can I use that when you are done?"

Do you see how that is ten times better? Most people who lack self-belief apologize more than what they realize. Little do you know that when you stop apologizing, you ARE going to enhance masculinity.

The Bottom Line: Weak Mindset = Weak Hormones

If you’re easily offended…If you apologize for everything…If you constantly seek validation, escape through addictions, or avoid confrontation…

You’re not just sabotaging your mindset—You’re chemically castrating yourself.

Every weak behavior sends your body one message:

“I’m not in charge.”Your brain listens. Your hormones adjust. And your testosterone tanks.

What masculine men understand is they understand that you can be grounded under pressure. And they also understand this...

  • Testosterone isn’t just built in the gym—it’s built in the way you think.
  • Every decision you make, every boundary you set (or don’t), and every word you say either feeds your dominance system or drains it.

Half of improving your masculinity is you learn to take courageous action in spite of your fears. So even if this was a hard article to read, great, that means you are GROWING.

This all stems back to mindset. A great article for you to go through on my website is "Fixed Mindset vs Growth Mindset." Start addressing where you have a fixed mindset and take the right steps to admit to yourself that you could have mental roadblocks. Everything starts with the mindset first. That's what half of my articles cover.
