How To Make Baba Ghanoush

Fun fact about Adam Skoda, I've worked in the kitchen at Aladdin's Eatery in Ohio and I know how to make baba ghanoush.

This is not a hard recipe to make and I'm going to take you through this step-by-step. So have no fear my pilgrim, this is an excellent dish that I'm going to teach you today.

Baba Ghanoush Ingredients

Report: Discover The Highest Stimulant Pre-Workouts Ever!

Here are the list of ingredients you will need to make this dish:

  • 4 Small Eggplants
  • 3 Tablespoons of Tahini Paste
  • 2 Cloves of Garlic
  • 1 Tablespoon of Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 1 Teaspoon of Finely Grated Lemon Peel
  • 1/4th a Cup of Fresh Parsley
  • 2 Teaspoon of Paprika
  • 1/2 of Teaspoon of Ground Cumin
  • 1 1/14 of Teaspoon of Sea Salt
  • 1/2 of Teaspoon of Black Pepper
  • 1/4 of Cup of Tuscan Olive Oil

And don't be intimidated by the ingredients my friend, all you really do here is put the ingredients in a blender or a food processor.

Preheat Oven to Prepare To Make Baba Ghanoush

Easy step here my friends, here's what you do, just turn on your oven to 500 degrees.

You gotta broil the eggplant for this step. Line a large bowl with a cheese cloth as well.

You also want to line a large baking sheet with foil. Don't forget that step. This is where you put your eggplant.

Place the eggplants on prepared baking sheet. Lightly coat it with cooking spray. Bake the eggplant for about 45 to 50 minutes or until the eggplant skin is charred.

Let The Eggplant Rest Until Cool Enough

This is what the eggplant should look like my friend. Nice and charred. You will peel off the skin in a little bit.

But most importantly, you want to let the eggplant to rest and not touch it right away as you'll have one of those kitchen accidents and burn yourself.

Once the eggplant is cool enough to handle, cut the eggplants in half, peel away the skin and discard that shit.

Now you transfer the flesh in to the prepared bowl with the cheese cloth. You can use paper towels instead, all good.

Wring out all the moisture from the heat in the eggplant. Use those muscles that you should have from my German Volume Training workouts.

The hardest part is honestly done, the rest is easy peasy. No excuses!

Place All Ingredients in a Blender

You need a blender my friend. This one is really fucking effective. What's awesome about the Vitamix Difference is the speed control.

More importantly, all you do is blend warm water and use dawn dish soap to clean this, no dishwasher necessary.

Anyways, if you have a food processor that can also work. The importance of this step is that you place eggplant flesh, tahini paste, two gloves of unpeeled garlic, lemon juice, lemon peel, parsley, paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper in a blender.

I do recommend you get this particular blender because that  speed fucking phenomenal to give you the right texture.

With the blender or food processor running, you want to add the tuscan olive oil while its blending. By the way you should smell the goods by now of the garlic and the lemon. BOOM!

Blend or process that shit until its fully emulsified. Now you gotta refrigerate the dip for two hours. This is important. Don't skip this.

Optional: Buy Pita Chips

Damn bro, you'd be missing something incredible if you didn't buy pita chips. Then again, you can get pita bread as well.

In my opinion, the garlic parmesan pita chips goes great with Baba Ghanoush but you will have garlic breath.

However, garlic does in fact increase testosterone in case you didn't know that. [R]

So by making this dish, you are increasing testosterone! Good shit!

The Takeaway

You gotta make this recipe my friend. I've made this multiple times and this does model the way Aladdin's makes their Baba Ghanoush with a few minor differences.

However, this recipe in my opinion is worth a little bit of time to set aside, so if you're busy like me, plan ahead of time to make this dish.

I cannot recommend anything more delicious to make. This dip is generally served with toasted pita, but it also can go with veggies.

Peace out you charming legends!
